This paper makes a detailed analysis on the echo signal of the repeated trajectory bistatic SAR. According to the characteristic of spotlight SAR signal, an algorithm based on Spectrum Analysis (SPECAN) method is proposed. The algorithm removes the azimuth ambiguity, and it also ensures good imaging quality over wildfield scene without defocus caused by spatial variance of target position.

Due to the constantly changing motion of a ship target, high order phase terms which cannot be neglected and results in bad azimuth focusing are generated. In this condition the RD algorithm is not a very effective way for ISAR imaging. In fact, the azimuth position of target scattering point can also be illustrated by the instantaneous chirp rate of received signal not just by the Doppler frequency. In this paper, a new approach is proposed, which is based on Product High-Order Matched-Phase Transform (PHMT) to estimate the value of the changing rate of chirp rate, chirp rate, central frequency and amplitude, thus the high quality range-instantaneous chirp rate (RIC) ISAR image of the object can be obtained. At last, the simulation results prove the effectiveness of the method proposed.

In the paper, we provide a method to suppress both the blanketing jamming and the deceptive jamming in Dual-channel PolSAR (D-PolSAR) system. The model of the signal and jamming in the D-PolSAR system is analyzed. By comparing the difference between jamming and real signal, a two-channel-cancellation (TCC) method based on phase compensation is proposed to suppress these two types of jamming. The simulation validates the method.

Spotlight SAR is an efficiency way to obtain high resolution radar imagery. The non-stability of the aircraft motion during the long synthetic aperture time can make the imagery suffer the sever defocus, and there is phase error in the range direction in the high resolution SAR system. This paper presents a novel signal processing method to get high definition resolution spotlight SAR imagery, which can make an effective estimation on the aircraft position error, the phase error in range direction and the residual envelop error. The experiment results show that the proposed approach can get the high quality SAR image from raw data.

An algorithm for estimating full aperture by sparse data is proposed in this paper. For big vacant aperture in sparse data, by measuring sparse data actually, accurate sparse data frequency domain energy distribution estimate can be obtained with parametric approaches. With estimated power spectrum as prior information, minimum weighted norm as the restraint, underdetermined equations are solved to interpolate vacant aperture, thus wide aperture data segment estimate is obtained. This algorithm can be effectively applied to ISAR imaging in sparse data. Resulting simulation and actual data processing results confirm validity of the proposed algorithm.
